Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and collateral to assess borrower risk and determine credit limits.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and detailed recommendations for credit committees.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios to identify early signs of financial distress or delinquency.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks to improve decision-making.
- Ensure all credit activities strictly comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with underwriting and sales teams to structure complex credit facilities and loan terms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in credit analysis or commercial lending.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel, and credit analysis software.
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, risk management principles, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting to senior management.
- CFA, CPA, or CMA certification is highly preferred.
