Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and FLSA standards.
- Conduct regular payroll audits and reconcile general ledger accounts related to payroll.
- Address and resolve complex employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to update compensation structures and benefit information.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in payroll processing, preferably using ADP or Workday.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and state-specific payroll tax laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills under tight deadlines.
