Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess borrower risk and capacity to repay loans.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and underwriting guidelines.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and presentations for the credit committee.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for early warning signs of default.
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure financing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state banking regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or risk management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly.
- Professional certification (CFA, CPA, or CAM) is a plus.
