Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth credit analysis of corporate and commercial borrowers to determine risk levels.
- Develop comprehensive credit memos, risk assessments, and recommendation reports.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signs of default or deterioration.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to structure deals and negotiate terms.
- Utilize advanced financial modeling to project future cash flows and scenarios.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators.
- Present findings to senior management and the credit committee effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of proven experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or commercial lending.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
- Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks, Basel III, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
