Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and creditworthiness of commercial borrowers
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports for loan committee review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit risk
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
- Present credit recommendations to senior leadership with clear rationale
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 4+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, credit risk frameworks, and regulatory compliance
- Credit Analyst (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with lending platforms (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
