What You’ll Do:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, credit applications, and business operations to assess risk levels.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models to ensure accurate risk classification.
- Review and approve credit limits for new and existing clients.
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and presentations for executive review.
- Monitor market trends and economic indicators that may impact credit risk.
- Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to ensure alignment on credit policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or commercial lending.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling software.
- Experience with credit risk management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
