Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for commercial loan applications
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal credit policies
- Present complex financial analyses to credit committees with clear recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, credit regulations, and risk management frameworks
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Professional certification (CRCM, CFA, or similar) highly valued
