Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations with clear risk mitigation strategies
- Manage existing loan portfolios through regular risk reviews and compliance monitoring
- Collaborate with commercial banking teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Develop financial models to forecast repayment capacity under various scenarios
- Present credit analysis findings to senior leadership and credit committees
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive credit analysis experience in commercial banking
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Bloomberg) and risk assessment tools
- Strong understanding of GAAP, credit regulations, and underwriting standards
- Proven track record of managing complex credit portfolios
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Valid California Commercial Credit Analyst certification required
