Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies and compliance requirements
- Manage client relationships and communicate tax implications effectively
- Conduct tax research and resolve technical issues using authoritative guidance
- Lead tax engagements and mentor junior team members
- Collaborate with audit and consulting departments for integrated solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public tax experience with Big 4 or reputable regional firm
- Expertise in federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Proficient in tax preparation software (UltraTax, ProSystem fx)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Active CPA license required
