Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to evaluate borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for portfolio review committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting credit policies
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal regulations
- Present complex financial analyses to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and lending regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Credit certification (CRCM or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with commercial loan origination systems
