Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, tax returns, and credit applications to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda and risk assessments for commercial lending committee review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early identification of potential credit issues
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure tailored credit solutions for diverse clients
- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management protocols
- Stay current with industry trends, economic indicators, and credit risk modeling techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of cash flow analysis, collateral valuation, and covenant structures
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present findings to senior leadership
- Proven track record of managing commercial loan portfolios up to $10M
