Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and creditworthiness of commercial and institutional clients
- Prepare detailed credit risk assessments and recommend approval terms
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify potential risk mitigation strategies
- Stay current with industry regulations and market trends affecting credit decisions
- Present findings to credit committees with clear, data-driven recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Bloomberg, RiskMetrics)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage complex credit portfolios under regulatory constraints
