Responsibilities
- Analyze complex credit portfolios using advanced financial modeling techniques and risk assessment frameworks
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk mitigation strategies for institutional clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize lending policies and portfolio performance
- Lead due diligence processes for commercial loan applications exceeding $10M
- Develop predictive models for credit risk forecasting using Python and SQL
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of credit evaluation protocols
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and board committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive credit analysis experience with commercial portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling tools (Bloomberg, Capital IQ)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and regulatory compliance requirements
- Strong quantitative skills with demonstrated experience in risk analytics
- Proven track record in high-stakes decision-making for large-scale loans
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Professional certification (CRCM, CFA) preferred
