Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations for commercial and industrial loan applications
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential credit deterioration
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-exposure accounts
- Present credit analysis findings to senior management committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and credit risk assessment methodologies
- Industry certifications (CRCM, CMB) highly desirable
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with credit scoring systems and portfolio management software
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex financial concepts
