Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and collateral to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments with clear recommendation rationale
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning indicators of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (SOX, FFIEC)
- Present findings to credit committees and senior leadership
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and industry risk factors
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or equivalent preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial documents
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
