Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to evaluate creditworthiness of commercial borrowers
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments with actionable recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
- Present findings to credit committees and senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, risk assessment methodologies, and credit principles
- Certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
