Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify potential risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure complex financing solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Present credit analysis findings to senior leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or finance
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies
- Industry-recognized certification (CFA or CRCM) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
