Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and market trends to assess credit risk
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approvals/modifications
- Monitor existing portfolios for credit quality changes and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations (FIRREA, BSA, etc.) and internal policies
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex credit facilities
- Present credit analysis findings to senior leadership and credit committees
- Develop and maintain robust credit risk models and scoring systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA/CFA/FRM preferred
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Expertise in financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and ratio analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, and credit software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
- Strong understanding of secured/unsecured lending structures and collateral valuation
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with executive presence
- Proven ability to manage complex credit transactions in dynamic markets
