Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit recommendations for commercial and industrial loans
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for early risk identification and mitigation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and clients
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements (FDIC, OCC)
- Present credit analysis findings to senior management and loan committees
- Contribute to process improvements in credit assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Moody's Analytics)
- Deep understanding of cash flow analysis, ratio interpretation, and industry benchmarks
- Proven track record in risk assessment and portfolio management
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- CFP or CMA designation preferred
