Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and creditworthiness of applicants using proprietary software
- Prepare detailed risk assessments and credit recommendations for portfolio review
- Monitor existing accounts for compliance and potential risk exposure
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure credit terms aligned with risk policies
- Generate monthly portfolio performance reports for leadership
- Stay current on industry regulations affecting credit practices
- Train junior analysts on credit evaluation methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and risk assessment frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Credit certification (CRCM or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with credit management systems (e.g., Fiserv, Temenos)
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environment
