Responsibilities
- Analyze creditworthiness of commercial and industrial applicants through financial statement review and cash flow modeling
- Prepare detailed credit reports with risk assessments and recommendations for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance with covenants and identify early warning signs
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex financing solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Present findings to senior leadership with clear data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial modeling)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or MBA preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit risk frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
