Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for commercial loan portfolios
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure competitive credit solutions
- Monitor existing credit facilities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain risk rating models for diverse industry sectors
- Present credit recommendations to senior management committees
- Identify emerging risks and propose mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg)
- Credit Risk Management certification (CRCM or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and lending regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex financial data
- Experience with commercial loan origination systems
