Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk mitigation strategies for commercial loans
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (FCA, BSA) and internal policies
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvements
- Present findings to credit committees with data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in agricultural/energy sector lending highly desirable
- Advanced proficiency in credit scoring models (Altman Z, etc.)
- Certified Credit Professional (CCP) or equivalent designation
- Demonstrated success in high-value loan portfolios ($1M+)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory compliance
- Experience with credit management software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
