Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessment reports for portfolio review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure complex credit facilities
- Stay current on industry regulations and lending best practices
- Present credit recommendations to senior management with clear rationale
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in financial services
- Expertise in financial modeling and cash flow analysis
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and credit underwriting software
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and market conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional certification (CFA, CRCM) highly desirable
