Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit risk evaluations and recommend loan structures
- Monitor existing portfolios for early risk identification and mitigation
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex commercial credit facilities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies
- Present credit recommendations to senior leadership with clear rationale
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external credit bureaus and rating agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, risk management frameworks, and lending regulations
- Certified Credit Professional (CCP) or CFA designation preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage complex credit transactions independently
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
