Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda and risk assessments for commercial loan applications
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Develop financial models for scenario analysis and stress testing
- Present findings to credit committees and senior leadership
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, credit policies, and banking regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with credit risk management systems (e.g., Moody's Analytics, FICO)
- Proven track record of managing high-value loan portfolios
