Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and implement best practices in credit risk management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies
- Industry certifications (CRCM, CFA) highly preferred
