Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for commercial loan applications
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory compliance requirements and industry best practices
- Present credit recommendations to senior leadership and credit committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in financial services
- Proficiency in credit risk modeling and financial statement analysis
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA experience preferred
- Strong understanding of SEC regulations and GAAP standards
- Credit Risk Management Certification (CRM) or equivalent preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
