- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports with risk ratings and recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on regulatory changes (FHA, SBA, banking compliance)
- Present complex credit analyses to senior management committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and credit software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
- Credit certification (CRCM or equivalent) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience in Midwest industrial or manufacturing sectors a plus
