Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for commercial loan applications
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Credit Analyst Certification (CAC or equivalent) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of SBA lending programs a plus
