Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Balance cash drawer daily to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to resolve account inquiries and issues.
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, applying for loans, and utilizing online banking services.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for bank products such as credit cards and insurance.
- Adhere to strict security and compliance regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the teller line and lobby.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or prior banking experience preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform basic arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (bank bags/boxes).
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
