Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive creditworthiness evaluations for commercial and consumer applicants
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and market trends
- Prepare detailed credit reports with actionable risk recommendations
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signals
- Ensure compliance with federal and state banking regulations
- Develop and maintain automated risk assessment models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and credit underwriting principles
- Certified Credit Professional (CCP) designation preferred
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities
- Experience with credit scoring systems (FICO, Beacon)
- Proven track record in risk mitigation strategies
