Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and credit risk profiles for commercial clients
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments supporting lending decisions
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to optimize credit exposure and mitigate risks
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit policies
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance credit analysis processes
- Present credit recommendations to executive committees with clear rationale
- Maintain compliance with federal and state banking regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Bloomberg)
- Deep understanding of cash flow analysis and collateral valuation
- Series 7 and/or Series 63 licenses strongly preferred
- Experience with credit underwriting software (e.g., Moody's, Fiserv)
- Proven track record of managing high-value portfolios ($50M+)
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder presentations
