Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth credit risk assessments for commercial loan applications ($250k-$5M)
- Prepare detailed financial models and cash flow projections using advanced Excel techniques
- Analyze industry trends and market conditions to inform lending decisions
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Present findings and recommendations to credit committee members
- Monitor loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Stay current on regulatory changes affecting commercial lending
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience with SBA or commercial portfolios
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Proficiency in credit underwriting software (e.g., Moody's RiskCal, Fiserv)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex financial concepts
- Series 63/66 licenses or ability to obtain within 90 days
