Responsibilities
- Process complex financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with precision
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for banking products and services
- Resolve customer inquiries and disputes with empathy and problem-solving skills
- Maintain strict compliance with banking regulations and security protocols
- Train and mentor junior tellers on operational procedures
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions
- Contribute to branch performance goals through customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail banking or customer service role
- Proven ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation CC, EFT, etc.)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with banking software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable
