Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit reports to determine applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit risk assessments and recommendation reports
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and lending policies
- Present findings to credit committee members and senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and lending regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Professional certification (CFA, CMA, or CRCM) preferred
