Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and recommend mitigations for deteriorating credits
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure competitive credit solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with lending policies
- Develop and maintain automated credit scoring models using Excel and SQL
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and financial modeling
- Strong understanding of GAAP, cash flow analysis, and collateral valuation
- Credit certification (CRCM or CMB) highly desirable
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly
