Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and cash flow projections to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for loan committee presentations
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential default
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit facilities that balance risk and opportunity
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (Regulation B, Fair Credit Reporting Act) and internal policies
- Develop and maintain credit risk models using Excel and specialized financial software
- Stay current with economic trends impacting regional markets and industry-specific risk factors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statement analysis, and cash flow forecasting
- Excellent written communication skills for preparing complex credit documentation
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment
- Certification in credit analysis or risk management (e.g., CRCM, CRM) preferred
- Familiarity with agricultural, manufacturing, or healthcare credit sectors
