Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end closes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for departmental performance
- Manage tax compliance filings and collaborate with external auditors
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
