Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit data to determine applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure credit solutions
- Ensure adherence to federal and state lending regulations
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-exposure accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Proficiency in credit scoring models and risk assessment tools
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (FDIC, OCC, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with credit software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
- Credit certification (CRCM or CCE) highly desirable
