Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare monthly financial statements and tax documentation
- Support month-end closing procedures with night shift team
- Implement internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with daytime team for operational continuity
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM schedule)
- Familiarity with Virginia tax regulations
- CPA certification or equivalent preferred
