Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and supporting documentation for external auditors.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in budget forecasting and financial planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve reporting efficiency.
- Maintain and update internal financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
