Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and credit data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations for commercial loan portfolios up to $5M
- Collaborate with commercial banking teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit policies
- Lead risk mitigation strategies for existing and prospective clients
- Maintain accurate credit documentation and compliance with federal regulations
- Mentor junior analysts to enhance departmental capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment tools
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and credit underwriting standards
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes deadlines
- Experience with commercial loan origination systems
