Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and credit applications to assess risk and determine creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports with detailed recommendations for senior management
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Present findings to credit committees and executive leadership
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and cash flow modeling
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of SBA lending programs and industry-specific risk factors
