Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis and risk assessments for corporate and individual clients
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify potential risk mitigation opportunities
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure competitive credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations (FCRA, TILA, etc.)
- Develop predictive models for credit scoring and default probability
- Present findings to executive stakeholders using data visualization tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or fintech
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit scoring software
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Proven track record of managing complex credit portfolios
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex financial concepts
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks
