Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for commercial and consumer portfolios
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure credit facilities and recommend approval terms
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices in credit analysis
- Present findings to credit committees with clear, actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, credit risk frameworks, and lending regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- CFP, CMA, or similar certification preferred
