Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs aligned with FINRA, SEC, and Alaskan state regulations
- Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits to identify compliance gaps
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on regulatory changes and their operational implications
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies
- Stay current with evolving financial regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services or regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of federal and Alaskan state financial regulations
- Proven ability to work independently and manage remote workflows
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- FINRA Series 7, 24, or 63 certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Experience with compliance management software (e.g., Compliance.ai, MetricStream)
