Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including general ledgers and journals.
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and other reporting requirements.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes and audit preparations.
- File and organize tax documents, receipts, and financial documentation.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or clerical support role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
