Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit reports with actionable recommendations for loan approvals
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with commercial banking teams to structure complex credit facilities
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (SOX, OCC)
- Present credit analyses to senior management and credit committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in credit software (e.g., Moody's RiskCal, FICO)
- Strong financial modeling skills with Excel expertise
- Credit Risk Manager (CRM) or equivalent certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to analyze S&P 500 and mid-market company financials
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
