Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and credit applications to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit reports with actionable recommendations for loan approval/denial
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions for clients
- Stay current on regulatory compliance (FDIC, OCC) and industry best practices
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries
- Contribute to process improvements in credit risk methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Deep understanding of cash flow analysis and debt service coverage ratios
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven analytical problem-solving abilities
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Experience with SBA lending programs highly desirable
